After it was announced Monday that Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam would play Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, 50 Shades of Grey fans were NOT happy about it and even started a petition pushing for Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel.
By Thursday morning, more than 40,000 people had signed the petition posted to Change.org. It reads: “Matt Bomer is the PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF CHRISTIAN GREY AND ALEXIS BLEDEL IS THE PERFECT ACTRESS TO REPRESENT ANASTASIA STEELE. Please PLEASE, all of the GREYsessed and Bomerettes in the world NEED those actors.”
Matt has even responded by saying, “I’m so grateful for the fans and touched, I’m looking forward to seeing the movie with Charlie and Dakota.”

She was showing co-host Kathie Lee Gifford the various functions of her new Samsung wrist phone, when during said demonstration, Hoda called the phone from her own iPhone as a test.
